Management Change
Following a meeting at training on monday night, Billy McKie tendered his resignation as manager of the club.
The club have accepted his resignation and will now begin a search for
his replacement. We have arranged a meeting with the players on Wed
night, where the situation will be explained to them. We also hope to
appoint someone as caretaker manager until we are ready to appoint a new
manager.
The club would like to publically thank Billy for his
efforts and recognise the hard work he put in to get a squad together at
short notice.
He joined us when we were at a particularly low ebb
and he only had 2 players from the previous season as a starting point.
The fact that he managed to put a squad together in the short time that
he had before the season started is a magnificent acheivement in itself.
Billy is an excellent coach and I am sure he will move on from this setback and secure a position at another club.

Player News
Lauchlan Millar has returned to the club, this time as player.
Like Carlo Walker his vast wealth of experience and knowledge will be an asset as we move the club forward.
Carlo Walker has signed on at Rosebank and is a welcome addition to the squad. He brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of the junior scene. Carlo claims he is pleased to be back at the 'only club he ever wanted to play for'. Carlo was first here in November 1988 when Felix Wright was the manager.
2 new signings were completed in time for Saturday's game against Darvel.
Donald Elstob, who has been with us since the start of the season and has made a number of appearances, has put pen to paper. 17 year old Donald was with the Jim Baxter Memorial F.C. in Cumbernauld last season.
Ian McIntyre also signed up for the season. Ian was on the books at Ayr as a youth before moving on to Rangers in 2003. He then moved north to join Ross County and then Inverness Caley. Ian has been out of the game since moving back south a few years ago, but is looking to get back into the game. We hope he enjoys his time at Lugar.
Darren Gall and Danny Naismith have both been released from their registrations with Lugar at their own requests and we thank them for their input to the club during their time with us. All the best for the future lads.
Chris McKie has left the club and has joined Darvel, we thank Chris for his efforts at Lugar and wish him well for the future.
2 new signings checked in at Rosebank on Saturday.
Ross
Paul, brother of player-coach Allan, joins us after spending some time
out of the game. Once he gains full fitness I'm sure he'll be a good
addition to the squad.
Also making his debut on Saturday was Kris Stewart.
Kris
joins us after spending some time at Muirkirk and his experience at
junior level will also prove to be a step in the right direction.
Perry Uppal returns from honeymoon this week and will be in the squad for Saturday's game against Ardeer.
Mark Gilmour also returns to the squad for Saturday. Mark was on holiday this week.
Alan Baird and Chris McKie will be unavailable, both players are on crutches with ankle injuries.
Adam Gibson was carried off the pitch on Saturday and is doubtful for Saturday. A groin injury may keep him out for a couple of weeks, club physio Ian Cardle will assess him during the week.
Manager Billy McKie, revealed yesterday that he will have another 2 new signings in place before Saturday. A deal has almost been completed to bring a centre-half and a striker in to add to our squad.
